I was all geared up to have the Endocinch this Monday and now the procedure has been canceled. When they called to precertify the insurance company wanted more paperwork and it will take five days for approval. Before I can be rescheduled, it will probably be at least a month!! I thought I was going to sleep like a normal person Monday night and I am so bummed! I am afraid they won't approve the Endocinch and if that is the case I will have the fundo. I found out that with all the fees combined, the Endocinch is $8,000 (which I definitely don't want to pay out of pocket.) To me having it redone every couple of years if that is all it lasts is no biggie, but I can see where the insurance company might say medication is less than 4 grand a year.
It is probably for the best because I caught a nasty cold this weekend and am stuffed up, my eyes ache so bad I have tears running down my cheeks, so I probably should not have had it this week anyway. I am just tired of this.
