I have been taking Protonix for about 6 months now. After experiencing only mild symptoms (every few weeks I would have a hint of reflux or burn), the drug seems to be completely ineffective at controlling the heartburn/reflux. It was not a gradual change, happened overnight. Anyone else experience a rapid change like this?
