Do you think this would be a wise thing to do? Could it possibly reduce some of my post surgery discomfort from withdrawal from Prevacid? If I don't get off it before surgery, why would I want to put myself thru added discomfort after surgery when I go off it? If I elect to have the surgery in Nov. and next week start weaning off Prevacid (I take 30mg. once a day and it doesn't really help much). How is the best way to go about this?
