I'm sorry this has happened. I have heard that insurance companies like to label the endocinch procedure "investigational" [so they can get out of paying for it] based on the fact that there are no independent studies of it--that is, studies not paid for by Bard. Paying for such a procedure once would be a big enough decision, but the prospect of paying for it a second or third time (if it lasts only a couple of years) is quite another. Anyway, best of luck in the insurance battle. Joanne
