I have a bad reaction to H2 blockers, insomnia, agitations, and nervousness. I think when a person has one or two bad reactions to medications that the anxiety of the fear of another reaction makes it hard to assess if it is the drug itself causing the reaction or the fear of the drug causing a reaction. I have no noticeable side effects from PPI's. I don't know what to tell you. I am allergic to many meds and had had bad reactions and developed a severe phobia of all pills. It is very hard to sort out anxiety reaction vs. a true reaction. Keep trying.
