Hi MM,
Lowered stomach acidity make absorbtion of vitamins less efficient so in the long term, your B12 levels could drop to where anxiety becomes a problem. (This would not likely occur in a few hours after taking a med.) Do you think that the fact that you are expecting such a reaction makes it happen?
Your thyroid levels need to be closely monitored since something like a low T3 component can cause anxiety and depression.
A drop in blood sugar can also cause anxiety, head fog, tiredness, rapid heartbeat apprehension etc but it should go away after you get some sugar back into your system. Has your Hemoglobin A1c level been checked?
