I am here- Beaner I can't believe it---I have Blue Cross Blue Shield (massachusetts though) and I am not having any problems with coverage...the only stipulation was that I have the ph test and the manometry to prove reflux, first. As for me, I'm doing good---hungry---three more days of puree/liquid then back to normal diet. Still a little sore in the LES area, from the stitches I guess. Have had coffee the past three days though--and no heartburn!!! Yay! I can definitely notice a major difference---mainly with the way I burp (not to be gross)....I feel like I am burping like a normal human being now. But, I'm not getting too overly excited till I try going off my PPI's and start eating real food. Well anyway, they won't do the procedure if you're sick anyway--perhaps your doc can do something even if it takes a few more weeks. Keep us posted.
