Hi MM,

I was wondering if you knew that when acidity in the stomach is reduced, it is likely that your pyloric sphincter will open to aid in digestion. This is supposed to have the effect of causing more acid to be produced to lower the PH. So yes it is possible to turn off acid production too much, resulting in bile reflux and a high PH.
