I have the same thing. The taste in the mouth is awful. I had trouble in the Winter, it caused me to cough and wheeze a lot. Also I would get hoarse. The doctor prescribed a nose spray and it went away. I have an appt again for the same thing on Friday. I get very thick mucus in the throat that drains from the sinus. And it also affects the asthma. When I go Friday I will tell you what he said. This seems to be a reocurring thing with the polyp in the sinus area. I had an xray in January. The nose spray was Nasonex, not sure if he will give me the same stuff, or can they get rid of the polyp without surgery. I think he said in January, the nose spray should shrink the polyp, but I don't think it did cause I am still having the same thing. Will write you Friday after my appointment.
