Hi everyone.... yes I know everyone's reactions to anything can be different, but I am TERRIFIED of IV drugs and the gastroenterologist is insisting on Valium, Versed or Demerol, "HIS CHOICE" and that stuff scares me so bad, worrying about reactions, primarily difficulty breathing or vomiting..... did anyone have these reactions? Or any reactions?? Even just reading my post, can't u feel the fear???? I am probably the 'type' that could really USE the dope but am too terrified of it, my first scope with another GI doc was with no dope and I managed with just some gagging so..... I tried to talk this GI doc into the same but he says NO WAY and now I am thinking about cancelling the appointment for fear of throwing up or other bad reactions, any feedback would be appreciated!
