5 years ago I was given an upper GI and told I had a minor inflamation around the base of the gullet. I was put on Losec and take it as & when needed to control reflux. About 4 months ago, I started getting these pains that are similar to cardiac ( heart problems have been ruled out by tests ), they come from the chest cavity area and can radiate to the back right hand shoulder and up the jaw line.....Its like a cramp....if I do nothing about it...it can last for up to 30 mins and hurts like hell.....but drinking water stops it dead !!!!!!....what the hell is it ????
