Noah, This same thing happend to me. It felt like there was a giant lump in my throat. It gradually subsided over about a week's time, but wasn't completely gone for 3+ weeks. My doctor told me it was not possible to sustain an injury during an endoscopy, but I knew I had one (I think mine was from when she biopsied me in the throat area) Anyway, the thing that helped me most was eating a liquid and very soft food diet for 3 days. I never took any medication for it.
